This insurance scheme has been started to ensure term life insurance (TLI) of the staffs working in Cottage and Small Industries Development Committee. There is a provision of issuing payment of TLI to the staffs of this committee upon their retirement, resignation or deaths. Participants from this committee deposit Rs 400 each from their side and the same amount of money is added by the Government of Nepal. Thus they deposit Rs 400 per month on regular basis.
