The permanent employees of Nepal Agricultural Research Council are the beneficiaries of this scheme. CIT has introduced this scheme as per Citizen Investment Trust Act, 1990 and Citizen Investment Trust Management By-laws 1991 to implement term life insurance (TLI) program for the permanent employees of NARC. NARC participants deposit Rs 400 each from their side and the same amount of money is added, thus they deposit Rs 400 per month on regular basis.
